For Harriet parish records again show the birth on Tuesday 29 October 1833, and she was baptised on Sunday 24 November 1833 (exactly 118 years before I was born). For her birth her father's occupation is noted as carrier. The 1841 census return for the household has Harriett (two Ts) recorded as being aged 7.
She too does not appear in the 1851 census records at home.
Beware if looking that you will find a Harriet CHILVERS living as a house servant in the household of a well-to-do farmer of 300 acres, Jeremiah IBING at Thompson, a village about 10 miles from Old Buckenham. This Harriet is however one of the Tottington CHILVERS (qv).
Harriet does appear however in the 1861 census quite clearly in the household of a well-off wine merchant, Charles WEBB, in Clapham Common, Battersea Rise in London. Charles ran a large household for him, his wife and his 5 daughters and 2 sons. 28-year-old Harriet was recorded as a servant, noted as having been born in "Old Buckingham" (sic)
